TechTV Portfolio

Shown below are samples of the deliverables I was responsible for as an Interaction Designer at TechTV. TechTV was a cable television station and I worked on their public website and various online products and in-house tools.

Old Site vs. New Site
Show here is a juxtaposition of the old TechTV site and a prototype of the new TechTV site I worked on. Some goals of the redesign included making the online pages of a specific show look and feel more like the associated television show, increasing information access, having a modular skin-able framework, allowing show producers to move content blocks around on the page, and increasing the overall usability of the site.

Wireframes
Shown here is a typical wireframe (minus the callouts) I created for each of the numerous page types of the new TechTV site. The new TechTV site was a template-based site with content pulled from a content management system and plugged into an appropriate template for the requested page type. Each page template type had an architectural wireframe and design mock-up created for it.

Usability Documents
Shown here is a collage of the various usability documents I created while usability testing the new TechTV site designs. There are plans, scripts, evaluations, and analysis documents.

Specification Documents
Shown here is the first page of a typical specification document I wrote while at TechTV. The first column is an identification number of the feature being described. The second column is the name of the feature. The third column is the description of the feature. And the fourth column is a reference to the feature's location on a corresponding wireframe or mock-up.

Interaction Flows
Shown here is one of many interaction flows I created while at TechTV. This particular one shows all the possible flows a user might take while signing up, logging in, or redeeming points for TechTV's "GearHead" program.

Sitemaps
Shown here is a sitemap I created of the new TechTV site.
