NexTag Portfolio

Shown below are samples of some of the work I created as a Interface Designer & Developer at NexTag. NexTag is a comparison shopping search engine site used by millions of a people each month to shop for and compare prices on products and services.

Compare Products Page
Shown here is a juxtaposition of the old and my new Compare Products Page. I completely revamped the header, including the logo, tagline, the search functionality, and the tabbed navigation. I moved the product/search result 40% further up the page and cleaned up the overall interface by removing unnecessary clutter, grouping like items, and making important elements more salient. I also spearheaded a drive to a more efficient and streamlined "standards compliant" presentation layer.

Single Product Page
Shown here is a juxtaposition of the old and my new Single Product Page. Like the 'Compare Products Page', I cleaned up the overall interface by removing unnecessary clutter, grouping like items, and making important elements more salient. I also increased the functionality of the page by introducing new tabbed product features.

Services Forms
Shown here is collage of the various new forms I designed for NexTag's "Services" group. During my tenure with NexTag, we launched a brand new business strategy designed to let users compare Services as well as Products. The Services included such items as home loans, lines of credit, auto quotes, long distance carriers, and airline fares. I designed and developed the online forms users fill out to apply for a Service Comparison Quote.

Store Tools
Shown here is collage of the new NexTag Store tools I created. Though the project was never released, I designed and developed from the ground up a set of tools to allow NexTag members to create their own online storefronts.
