i was curious, and asked what it was. course, i was told and somehow or another i ended up buying the cd for more to the purpose of curiousity than anything.
turns out, i fell in love with it. it's a lot different than anything i listen to... more mellow and cool yet it really (for some reason or another) keeps you on your feet. the first three songs are favorites of mine, i think they'd fit into my category of trace if that strikes you.
alpha school... because of the twanging slide has really grabbed my attention as well.
i think i'll be hanging onto this for awhile.

and damn, its really good. along the same lines as
their last album but with a feeling of maturity.
i love where these guys are going.
definitely a hybid type of music.
this is jazz music to me; albiet made electronically,
well atleast most of it seems to be of electronic nature.
there are the occasional 'strings' and piano,
but really knows these days if the sounds are
made by "real" instruments are electronically made,
or even sampled.
but who cares!
if the music is good,
if the music moves you,
then there ya go.
that's all ya need.
and this is DARN GOOD music.
its definitely one of those recordings
i keep coming back to,
over and over.
