I find their follow up - The Stix - to be a more confident album. A Livingroom Hush tends to veer too much towards pastiche for my liking. On The Stix, Jagga have turned up the electronic beats and accomplish some far more original playing. Review link below:

Ninja Tune has picked them up and will be re-releasing the album state side
sometime in the summer i hear.
They are a 10 piece Norwegian jazz band and i believe all sounds on the
recording are played with instruments (rather than sampled).
NME described them as "Charlie Mingus with Aphex Twin up his arse" :)
i've been playing this one over and over.
