I found an inredible Luis Gasca album in a used record bin years ago and have since sadly lossed it. The Line up was stellar w/ Stanley Clarke & Billy Cobham and also Carlos Santana if memory serves. It's possibly the Blue Thumb recording listed here. His work with Hadley Caliman was also worth noting. Great record.

I have a comment for the woman who says she is married to Luis in Spain. Apparently, you haven't taken the time to sit and listen to his music and haven't read any of reviews and interviews about him.
My advise to you is to take a little time out and listen to his music, he has played with many artrists and he is fantastic!

Luis Gasca's s/t lp on Blue Thumb, later retitled "For Those Who Chant" --
Gasca's kind of negligable as a horn player, but he always got the craziest
people to play on his albums. This one is his most kozmigroov and there's
definitely some serious Silent Way-isms in there. Maybe not A-list, but
I've got a soft spot for it.
