Gateway were the trio of Abercrombie, DeJohnette and Dave Holland. Their first lp is highlighted by their incarnation of "Sorcery," which achieves a sweet levitation courtesy of Abercrombie's extensive guitar abuse. Very sick and very nice indeed. [DW]
