As an album alone, with only 4 songs, its probably the best release for its time (+timing). Nice artwork. IMO this album holds just as much respect as MHTRTC. It makes me feel really* good. Each song carries on smoothly. Fri Mar 5 10:09:19 PST 2004 richard said:
Le premier titre "Kid For Today" s'écoute indéfiniment, comme Aquarius du premier album. Une ambiance éthérée, incroyablement planante. Ne rien faire, juste écouter.Tue Oct 2 06:59:10 PDT 2001 zetexx said:

This is the greatest album since the Verve's eponymous debut 'Storm in Heaven' in 1993. Comparing them in the genre that this page likes to (downtempo/ ambient) (though I couldn't bracket them because of their sheer originality and intelligence), i'd put them in a top three with Global Communications '76:14', and Aphex Twins 'Selected ambient works 85-92'. Their music is the hidden jewel i've been on a mission to find since I first starting listening to my Mother's 7inch Beatles records as a child. Retro, progressive, reflective, mysterious, and orange. Stunning to listen to stoned OR (more importantly) sober - the greatest natural high. This music has the right to a global following - I adore their non noteriety status as much as I really want to buy an enormous poster of that incredible cover, and know when the next album is coming - even their own website says nothing. I've only ever heard of one live show they've done and i'm begining to think maybe I should have shed £100 to see the only worthy outfit at Camber Sands 2001. Brian Eno, the original creator -Boards of Canada, pioneers of the modern age. 10/10 for the album and ALL their EP's.. (this is gorgeous signing off) Mon Sep 10 13:50:21 PDT 2001 B Standing Alone said:
