I listen to more than 200 artists of different genres, but BoC take a very special place among them. There are no words to describe what you feel while listening. That's true - it reminds you of an earliest, forgotten memories. Top notch :)

Does anyone else recall Chris Coco on Jazz FM (London/Liverpool 100.4 - now Smooth.FM) playing the most influential tunes around 1am-ish in 2002/3. His voice was hypnotic and he always recommended purchasing Head Candy CD's which never seemed to contain what he played.... Anyone know if he still does radio and if so, which county/country? =Peace & Love to you x

Left home at an early age and moved to a new City. My current location is but a matter of feet from the waters edge (albeit the river Mersey ;o) I regularly use (sounds like an addiction) 2 particular tracks from BOC as a reminder when I feel the pinch and miss the "homely feeling of freedom". I cannot praise BOC enough....BLADDY WICKED!!!

kaini industries, bocuma, and ROYGBIV are just amazing.I live out in manitoba and this album surely is the soundtrack to our landscape.we live on the edge of a valley that is home to an indian reserve. It's amazing to stand in an open skylight at night listening to "happy cycling" while the full moon shines out into the valley, absolutly magical.I this album non-stop in my headphones on a roadtrip across saskatchewan and into alberta. We camped right on the edge of a lake near waterton and let me tell you, there isn't a better place to listen to "turquoise hexegon sun" or "ROYGBIV".in fact,if you look at the picnic table in our lot you'll see the message "boc ROYGBIV" carved into it.I can't listen to the album without remembering the rolling plains of saskatchewan.I obviously love this album more than almost any other ("Geogaddi" being the other contender for the top spot)

A timeless classic. It is strange how MHTRTC has tapped into peoples misty childhood memories. I had forgotten all those grainy films with their distorted soundtracks from The National Filmboard Of Canada that we used to get during the school holidays where these guys seem to get their inspiration from.

It reminds me of the many rides down the Amazon in the early 70's, licking frogs and avoiding the hostile indians. How track 7 flies out the window and straight into a parked car. I am waiting for the boxed set of Boards of Canada, a tribute to John Trubee.

Probably one of the most important electronic
releases ever. Taps into the deepest of basic
human emotion. I can't wait for their highly
anticipated new album later this year. I'm
still not tired of MHARTC and it's going on two years.

this album is one of the most colorful i have heard. they melodies that BoC has written are very good at invoking the images that they hint at on the cover. i love down beats, the happy-yet-sad melodies take me back to someplace in my childhood. very subtle, very beautiful.
